Kalmar is looking for a summer trainee to join the Kalmar Information Management Project Management Office (IM PMO) which is responsible for project management, IM strategy execution and business impact realisation within the global IM department. In this position, you will execute data analysis within the IM department and participate in showcasing IM performance by assisting with the tracking of key performance metrics, contributing to data-driven decision-making, and gaining exposure to IM processes. Additionally, you will obtain practical experience in project methodologies and data-driven decision-making within the IM context.

This full time position is located in Helsinki or Tampere. This is a fixed-term position for the summer period and start and end dates will be agreed between the manager and the employee.

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop IM strategy execution data and information flows through follow-up methodology process

  • Track IM performance management metrics and draw analysis based on data

  • Contribute to Kalmar internal communication about IM performance

  • Participate in IM development projects

  • Participate in variety of tasks of IM department.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Preferably 3+ years of university studies in relevant field (e.g. Information and Knowledge Management, Industrial Management)

  • Ability to work in a global organisation in English

  • Demonstrated knowledge of data analysis through relevant coursework or certifications is a plus

  • Proactive approach to problem-solving

  • Interest towards IT processes

  • Collaborative and team-oriented approach.
