We're making every move count
We are looking for a trainee to join our Product Safety team in Horizontal Division. The team works in close cooperation with automation and equipment sales, product management, r&d, engineering, customer projects and product support, and provides them product safety expert services.
You will report to the Product Safety Manager and will be part of a team of four. The trainee period lasts from May to the end of August, but exact duration can be agreed with some degree of flexibility. The location of the position is Tampere.
Main tasks and responsibilities
Machinery and automation risk assessment work with team's support
Studying of relevant legislation, standards, literature and earlier analysis to support the work
Facilitation of risk assessment sessions
Functional safety analysis
Documentation
Agreed process development tasks.
What you’ll need to succeed
2-4 years of studies in engineering (B.Sc. or M.Sc.). Preferred education of the candidate are Automation, Electrical and/or Mechanical engineering
Experience in the machinery and automation industries, specifically in safety of machinery and functional safety, is an advantage
Meeting and collaboration skills
Documentation skills
Fluency in English.
