Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Manage the calibration system (QDA), ensure internal and external calibration effectiveness, and deliver support for new measurement methods. Understands how to build up uncertainty and is familiar with ISO 9001 + ISO14253 part 1+2 and 5S disciplinary.

  • Develop and maintain a metrology system and determine measurement methods in alignment with local regulations, global standards, and internal LEGO rules.

  • Ensure measurement failures are investigated and taken with proper action for consistent results.

  • Programme for CMM auto measurement, perform steel measurement tasks from Mould Maintenance.

  • Training for the team for equipment internal validation.

  • Qualify CMM technicians, qualityinspectors/auditors, etc.for measurement skills in LEGO Manufacturing Vietnam.

  • Apply SPC for data analysis, CI initiatives, and performance trend forecasting.

  • Propose/contribute to validate tolerancing matter and coordinate improvement activities (MSA).

  • Best Practice sharing and adaptation with other sites, being point of entry towards EMV and engaged into EMV Location Leads networking.

  • Quality laboratory conformance to TLG standards and ISO17025

  • Updated and effective calibration system, measurement equipment in LEGO Manufacturing Vietnam

  • Practical metrology system in alignment with regulations, global standards and corporate standards.

  • Training and verification on data processing, measurement methods,verification/calibrationmethods

  • Measurement database for SPC, RCA and improvement opportunities

Do you have what it takes ?

  • 3-5 years of experience in calibration engineering or a related role

  • Knowledge about relevant standards

  • Uncertainty budget (PUMA / GUM etc.) knowledge of good lab practice

  • Experience with technical drawing

  • Experience in developing and maintaining laboratory and calibration processes

  • Practical experience in metrology principles and practices

  • SPC knowledge

  • No colour blind

  • Self-driven personality with a can-do attitude

  • High-standard driving and detail-oriented

  • Result-oriented with fact-base-driven, data-oriented, logical / analytical skills, detail oriented, systematic thinking, and a sense of excellence

  • Good level in English
