Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Executive Director, Global Procurement - Strategy & Delivery in Tarrytown, New York

The Executive Director, Global Procurement – Strategy & Delivery will provide strategic leadership for cross-organizational and cross-company priorities led by Global Procurement. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Global Procurement, this role will work closely with the Global Procurement Leadership Team and executive stakeholders across Regeneron to establish ways of working and implement effective processes, tools, and infrastructure to enable organizational maturity and achieve efficiency across assigned priorities. These priorities may include the Regeneron procure-to-pay, supplier risk management, supplier onboarding, contract/purchase order approval, and other processes critical to the organization’s success. You will lead the implementation of cross-category priorities and organizational evolution, driving the planning and communication related to the Global Procurement agenda as the organization evolves to achieve its medium and long-term goals.

The role is based at our HQ campus in Tarrytown, NY and is hybrid / onsite 3 days per week - it is not eligible for remote work.

A typical day might include :

  • Represents the SVP, Global Procurement and the broader Global Procurement organization in driving key organizational decisions with critical short and long-term impact on the success, efficiency, growth, and results of the organization and company.

  • Leads and/or participates in senior management discussions related to the development, measurement, and execution of strategic plans to drive both cross-organizational and Regeneron-wide priorities.

  • Leads critical cross-organizational projects and/or participates in company-wide projects representing supplier, sourcing, contracting, and supplier management activities.

  • Exhibiting role-model leadership behaviors across a large organization of direct and indirect reports who look to this role to create clarity, provide a clear and understandable vision, and drive positive and productive change both within and outside of the organization – including senior executive leaders across Regeneron and our most critical suppliers.

  • Demonstrating strong in-depth knowledge of efficient global procurement organizations and processes within the biopharmaceutical industry to support the growth and evolution of the Global Procurement organization and leverages this knowledge to drive improvements within Regeneron, aligned with corporate priorities

This role might be for you if you have :

  • Delivered successful enterprise-wide programs in a Senior / Executive Procurement position and are regarded as an influential leader – leveraging critical thinking, change management, strong business acumen, and deep experience driving global procurement fundamentals.

  • Developed and implemented operational, process, system, and strategic improvements and business priorities to align with a global organization's priorities.

  • Integrated role-model leadership behaviors across a large organization of direct and indirect reports in order to provide a clear and understandable vision, and drive positive and productive change both within and outside of the organization.

  • Influenced Senior Executive Leaders inside / outside of the Procurement Organization and with the most critical suppliers.

  • Lead with integrity, focus, clarity, and sound judgement in an environment of ambiguity to drive change and improvement to future organizational processes, structures, and culture.

To be considered for this role you must possess a bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study with 20 years of experience in relevant functions / industries, demonstrating growth in experience, scale, and development throughout. (advanced degrees and/or certifications in a relevant field / function would be highly preferred) Significant experience leading global teams, processes, and suppliers within a multi-national biopharmaceutical / life sciences organization. Demonstrated success driving the efficient expansion of a company or organization's scale, global footprint, and/or infrastructure.

Salary Range (annually)

$246,200.00 - $410,300.00
