Leica Camera OPTICAL LENS TECHNICIAN in Teaneck, New Jersey
JOB TITLE: OPTICAL LENS TECHNICIAN -LEICA CAMERA INC. Teaneck NJ Primary duties include:-Testing and Repairing of Optical and Mechanical Equipment.-Disassembling and inspecting camera equipment to determine the problem.-Use of MTF Machine to evaluate lens performance.-Apply required new skills from training sessions on the job.-Work diligently in a highly productive environment.-Compile information for daily reporting and monthly analysis.-Communicate verbally and in written format with Customer Service and Technical Service Depts. Maintaining high quality workmanship standards.-Completion of various tasks in a timely manner with detailed notations as required.-Repair and adjust analog cameras, digital cameras, and lenses.-Use of an Engine Lathe to cut metal components.-Cleaning and calibrating cameras and broken parts and testing cameras for performance.-Use electronic measuring instruments and computers for diagnostics.-Test photos, pixel and column restoration.
