Amazon Specialist Business Development Manager, AWS Marketplace Israel in Tel Aviv, Israel

Description

As a Business Development Manager in AWS Marketplace, you are building and executing programs working with AWS teams to increase AWS Marketplace adoption at AWS customers across Israel. As the owner of this business, you are working with the AWS Marketplace EMEA teams to set strategy and determine which products to pursue in order maximize value for Buyers & Sellers. On a daily basis you will, 1/ Engage to build and execute development plans with Technology Partners and Channel Partners as Sellers on AWS Marketplace. 2/ You will help your customers move to the next model for software procurement and deployment as they move from on-premise environments to the cloud and you are engaging directly with their Procurement Managers to drive and support adoption of the AWS Marketplace.

You should be self-motivated, customer-centric, very delivery-focused with a demonstrated ability to think strategically and long-term about the needs of our customers.

AWS Marketplace (http://aws.amazon.com/marketplace) is an online store where customers can find, buy, and immediately start using software in a utility model that runs on the AWS Cloud.

Our job is to bring Amazon's e-commerce expertise to cloud software and fundamentally change how software is discovered and consumed in the cloud. We have a long list of new ideas just waiting to be designed and implemented.

Key job responsibilities

• Develop a short term and long term strategic AWS Marketplace plan.

• Work with existing AWS business development and field organizations to engage with customers, and partners to execute joint go to market programs, owning the day-to-day interactions with existing customers and greenfield accounts to identify needs met through AWS Marketplace.

• Serve as a key member of the Israel Region and EMEA Marketplace teams in helping to define and deliver the strategy for SI Consulting and ISV technology partners.

• Understand the technical requirements of customers and partners, and work closely with the internal development team to guide the direction of our product offerings

• Educate and enable the sales teams and increase visibility of AWS Marketplace products across all relevant AWS teams.

• Manage complex contract negotiations as needed and serve as a partner liaison to the legal group.

A day in the life

You will define and execute the strategy across customers in Israel. You will work with the AWS organization to set the AWS Marketplace strategy. In your daily job, you will enable account managers and partner managers, and engage directly with customers, independent software vendors (ISV) and software resellers to support successful software transactions through the AWS Marketplace.

About the team

To support the customer adoption of AWS Marketplace across EMEA we are a team of specialist business development managers engaging with Technology Partners, Channel Partners, and Customers to educate and enable the acquisition of SaaS via a digital marketplace.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in online advertising or high-tech products/services

  • 3+ years of business agreements development, negotiation and execution experience

  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
