Google Technical Lead Software Engineer, AI Modernization in Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 8 years of experience in software development, and with data structures/algorithms.

  • 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products, and 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.

  • Experience with OS internals (e.g., Linux), Java frameworks, networks, on-premise and cloud technologies (e.g., VMware, public clouds).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.

  • 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.

  • 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.

  • Experience with AI technologies.

  • Lead architectural, design and implementation aspects of our migration and modernization tools.

  • Build outlook, roadmap, and planning for the domain and collaborate with different teams and roles to drive it.

  • Work closely with customers/partners all around the world to understand requirements and to support their usage of our products.

  • Drive innovation using Google Cloud and AI technologies to build our next generation tools and features.
