Job Description
The position is responsible for maintaining the Program Schedule in Deltek OpenPlan, providing support to Control Account Managers, and ensuring data integrity with Cobra and Jira. This role requires collaboration with all Program Planners and Program Finance to deliver coordinated program support and analysis. Utilizing performance and health metrics analyses, the Program Scheduler will drive actions that improve overall program performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain the Program Schedule in Deltek OpenPlan.
Support Control Account Managers and manage data integrity with Cobra and Jira.
Collaborate with Program Planners and Program Finance for coordinated program support and analysis.
Utilize performance and health metrics analyses to drive program performance improvements.
Consult with the Program Risk Manager to support schedule risk management and mitigation.
Apply Critical Path Methodology to schedule network development and analysis.
Develop/refine knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM).
Share responsibility for schedule baseline management and control.
Assist in weekly/monthly variance analysis.
Prepare status reports, metrics, and presentations as required.
Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills in a team environment.
Exhibit self-starter qualities and hands-on experience in Program Planning and Scheduling.
Qualifications:
Experience with Deltek OpenPlan, Cobra, and Jira.
Proficiency in Critical Path Methodology and its application in schedule network development and analysis.
Understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prepare status reports, metrics, and presentations.
Demonstrated hands-on experience in Program Planning and Scheduling.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
