Telluride School District R-1 High School Math Teacher in TELLURIDE, Colorado

Telluride School District is looking for a full-time math teacher to serve as a half-time math substitute for a teacher on maternity leave. The other half of this position will be a floating math teacher wherever needed. This position will start on or about August 2021. Candidates must have or be able to obtain a Colorado Teaching License. Candidates will be interviewed on an ongoing basis and hired based on the following characteristics and experiences: Content Knowledge in Secondary Math Ability to plan lessons Ability to think on their feet and work in a collaborative manner to engage children and manage behaviors in the classroom Caring person who wants to see the youth of the day challenged and provided unique opportunities for growth and learning Life experiences that can lend themselves to educating our children. Ability to use technology Ability to maintain confidentiality All candidates will need to obtain a Colorado Department of Education Teaching License.
