The Cigna Group Automation Engineer Senior Supervisor - Cell Technology - Express Scripts in Tempe, Arizona

The Senior Supervisor will have overall responsibility for the maintenance and reliability of the pharmacy automation equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor equipment performance software and or applications to minimize downtime and maximize patient service.

  • Monitor and engage the team to improve Mean Time between Failure (MTBF) and Mean Time to Repair (MTTR).

  • Act as the first level of Management Response.

  • Build strong teams through continuous training/development for the team. Evaluate team and individual performance.

  • Conduct one on one meetings with direct reports and provide feedback for end of year reviews.

  • Collect, analyze and issue corrective actions as needed for routine daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual operating reports.

  • Oversee and engage in continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • 2-5 years of relevant working experience

  • Experience leading within an industrial maintenance or reliability team.

  • Computer knowledge including MS Office application

  • Demonstrated ability to lead a workgroup or project team

  • Results-oriented coupled with the ability to balance multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously

  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing processes, responsibilities, work environments as well as making independent decisions quickly.

  • Well-developed communication skills (written, verbal and presentation) and ability to work effectively with all levels of employees and leadership

  • Effective motivator and self-starter

  • Excellent planning and organizational skills

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include various shifts and or weekend days.

  • Willing to travel up to 10%.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
