Deloitte Performance Test Engineer in Tempe, Arizona

Work you'll do/Responsibilities
Create, configure and execute performance test scripts within LoadRunner
Collaborate with Application Architects and Product Owners to define and design specific performance test scenarios and key outcomes
Liaise with DevOps engineers to coordinate environment needs for testing (application settings, data conditions, etc.)
Author performance testing reports and engage withprogram stakeholders to review findings and identify areas for further testing
Draft the performance test plan and update the test plan for review to manager
Prepare performance test data
Develop the performance test script usingLoadrunner/jMeterfor all the identified Performance testing scenarios
Execute the various performance tests including Load, Stress, Endurance, and capacity tests
Capture and analyze performance test metrics
Review test results captured from load runner and monitoring tool, support the identification of performance issues and make recommendations to stakeholders
Handle the performance testing support activities as required under the instructions of senior management & architects
Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management
Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement workstreams focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation of processes including implementing leading practice workflows, addressing deficits in quality, and driving operational outcomes

Managed Services: Operate services that provide ongoing maintenance, monitoring, and optimization for IT/Engineering applications & products
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's Degree preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
6+ years Quality Engineering and/or Performance Testing experience with experience creating, and executing performance test scripts using tools such as jMeter and LoadRunner
Experience with object oriented programming languages.
Experience with defect tracking software for agile teams. i.e. Jira, Qtest, etc.
Experience identifying and troubleshooting performance bottlenecks by working closely with developers and system engineers to remediate findings
Experience reviewing and analyzing performance test results through tools similar to AppDynamics, Splunk, etc.
Experience with testing plans, documentation, process, and testing execution on multiple development deliverables
Clearly demonstrate knowledge in using various testing methodologies Agile and Scrum and logging results using solutions such as JIRA and or Confluence
Experience with Cloud and Linux is a plus
Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
