DHL Express US is currently looking to hire a Program & Facility Sr. Manager . This role is essential to Customer Service and will be responsible for overseeing several facilities, as well as management of key programs to ensure continuity across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead teams located in Costa Rica and Arizona that manages & delivers on-premise projects, upgrades, procurement and budgeting for 3 facilities.
· Manage the project delivery of facility wide onsite activities across multiple business units.
· Space planning, allocation and management, including alteration & renovations, furniture installation, datacom & voice installation, provision of furnishings, and procurement to alter, renovate, and install.
· Facility planning, forecasting, budgeting and accounting, including economic justifications, financial forecasting, budget formulation, budget execution, rent/expense allocations.
· Operations, maintenance and repair, including preventive/ breakdown/ cyclic maintenance, pest & rodent control, and correction of hazards.
· Adherence to safety & compliance requirements and disaster recovery oversight.
· Tele/ data communications, wire & network management, including maintenance and central voice operations.
· Serve as a liaison between U.S. Customer Service and Costa Rica Shared Service Center.
· Security and life-safety management including code compliance and security system management.
· General administrative services including mail and messenger management, archiving, and shredding.
· Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Skills & Qualifications:
5+ years experience, including at least 5 years of supervisory or management experience
Bachelor’s Degree is desirable
Performance in an independent capacity with minimal managerial guidance is essential
Ability to make independent consequential decisions under pressure
Strong negotiation & interpersonal skills
Strong multi-tasking efficiency
Business & customer service oriented
Cost conscious & budget management
Effective oral & written communications
Concurrent problem solving
