Job Summary

The Sales Account Executive is a pivotal role in the company, working closely with Senior Leadership to drive the growth of the business through strategic account acquisition and management. This role focuses on expanding our customer base across the Print, Build and Live Events Market, ensuring quarterly and annual sales goals are met. They are primarily responsible for identifying new business opportunities, crafting tailored solutions, and managing client relationships with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Strategically manage a sales pipeline to drive new business opportunities to closure.

  • Proficient in initiating sales contacts and securing deals.

  • Proven track record managing sizable projects with minimum budgets of $250,000.

  • Develop account plans that encompass activities, timelines, and milestones to achieve sales targets.

  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless delivery of products and services.

  • Engage in consultative selling by understanding customer needs and proposing customized solutions.

  • Establish and maintain relationships across customer organizations, including at the executive level.

  • Provide input on sales processes and strategies, participating in continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Manage complex contract negotiations and work with contracts as required.

  • Assess sales performance and identify opportunities to improve sales strategies and techniques.

  • Diligently maintain sales activity records within the company's CRM, ensuring information is kept up-to-date.

  • Frequent travel for client meetings, presentations, and industry events.

  • Perform other duties as required to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.

    Required Skills / Abilities

  • Demonstrated track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets in a business-to-business environment.

  • Strong digital literacy and proficiency in sales management software and CRM tools.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to persuasively convey the value proposition.

  • Experience in cross-functional team collaboration and project management.

  • Strong analytical skills to manage sales performance and optimize strategies.

  • Familiarity with a variety of sales methodologies and tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).

  • Adaptable to various selling and negotiation environments.

  • Must be flexible and willing to work beyond traditional working hours as needed.

    Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of sales experience, with a preference for experience in the print or digital industry.

  • Proven success in a quota-carrying sales role.

  • Experience with sales forecasting and pipeline management.

  • Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools is beneficial.

     

    Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.

  • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.

  • Frequent travel required.
