American Airlines, Inc. has openings for a Sr. Engineer, IT Quality Assurance to perform the following duties: Responsible for providing test automation services related to system test strategies and solutions that incorporate industry standard techniques, strategies, and processes; Plan, design, create, and execute automated test suites for multiple applications with supervision by team leads; Design, write, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for the Time & Attendance Product; Perform the setup, upgrade, testing and administration of tools used by the testing team; Maintain automation standards for a product set, including the maintenance and evolution of the master automated regression test set; Participate in the entire testing project lifecycle from requirements to test executions; Develop and maintain the Quality Assurance benchmark performance success metrics and measures all future product releases against those standards; Develop plans, procedures and programs to monitor and evaluate the accuracy and reliability of the system and ensure performance and standards are maintained; Actively communicate testing status, including schedule, risks, issues, defects, and potential impact; Provide engineering support for testing approach design and tools on projects of peers; Troubleshoot issues by researching symptoms, analyzing impacts, and implementing solutions; Collaborate with Quality Assurance Analysts to plan, develop, and maintain automation regressions and performance test suites.

Minimum Requirements: Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, plus 3 years of experience as Developer or any occupation in which the required experience was gained, plus demonstrated experience in: Documenting test plans, expected results, actual test results, identified issues, and steps to replicate accessibility findings; Automation using Selenium and TestNG with Java; Creating automation framework including Page Object Model or Page Factory Model; CI/CD Pipeline; and Testing API services. A bachelors degree plus 5 years of experience will be accepted in lieu of a masters degree plus 3 years of experience.
