The Compliance Department at Union Health is looking for a Compliance Associate for the Terre Haute campus. Compliance Associate Essential Job Duties:
Assist Compliance Officer with fraud/abuse allegation investigations.
Supports Legal and Compliance Department with respect to billing, fraud/abuse, and related projects.
Assists the Compliance Officer with review, analysis, and appraisal of the revenue cycle management system.
Assist Privacy Officer with medical record/privacy-related allegation investigations.
Maintain relationships with vendors of hospital revenue, billing, and collection applications to understand current and future features and functionality to meet organizational and vendor life cycles.
Provide support for billing, coding, and collection investigations while maintaining documentation in the tracking system and following the health system’s Compliance Plan and Code of Ethical Conduct.
Assists with internal audits.
Education, Training & Experience
Minimum five to seven years of experience in billing, coding, and revenue cycle.
Attention to detail.
Expected to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
