The Compliance Department at Union Health is looking for a Compliance Associate for the Terre Haute campus.     Compliance Associate Essential Job Duties:

  • Assist Compliance Officer with fraud/abuse allegation investigations.

  • Supports Legal and Compliance Department with respect to billing, fraud/abuse, and related projects.

  • Assists the Compliance Officer with review, analysis, and appraisal of the revenue cycle management system.

  • Assist Privacy Officer with medical record/privacy-related allegation investigations.

  • Maintain relationships with vendors of hospital revenue, billing, and collection applications to understand current and future features and functionality to meet organizational and vendor life cycles.

  • Provide support for billing, coding, and collection investigations while maintaining documentation in the tracking system and following the health system’s Compliance Plan and Code of Ethical Conduct.

  • Assists with internal audits.

    Education, Training & Experience

  • Minimum five to seven years of experience in billing, coding, and revenue cycle.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Expected to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
