What you’ll achieve

As a Senior Director in Service Delivery, you’ll lead and manage a large organization providing a broad range of IT services to one of Dell’s largest and most important customers and meet financial commitments. You’ll build in-depth knowledge of the client’s priorities, challenges and initiatives and become a trusted advisor as well as identify potential sales opportunities and help coordinate efforts with Sales and Global Services Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to pursue opportunities. You’ll also maintain awareness of all service matters and manage the customer during high priority escalations as well as develop strategic account growth plan with Sales and Global Services SMEs.

You will:

  • Set the vision and strategy that inspires our team and encourages our customer to adopt Dell solutions as well as drive cultural alignment between our team and our customer

  • Maintain ownership of and accountability for financial results as well as operational excellence to encourage growth of services and product revenue globally, while driving continuous improvement

  • Understand the market, customers and competitors and contribute to Dell’s transformational offers that differentiate us with this customer and in the industry

  • Understand service offerings to aid in formulating and articulating new business opportunities to support the customer’s strategic direction and corporate growth; a very high level of engagement will be expected to support sales pursuits

  • Lead in a cross functional model supporting sales (Dell Technologies Select/DTS), corporate product teams (Dell/EMC/VMWare), support organizations and numerous partner teams

Essential Requirements:

  • Typically requires 18+ years of related experience in a professional role with a Bachelor’s degree; or 15+ years and a Master’s degree; or 12+ years and a PhD; or equivalent experience

  • Typically requires 10+ years diversified leadership, planning, communication, organization and people motivation skill (or equivalent experience)

  • Significant experience managing a large Profit & Loss Statement as well as managing End Customer relationships

  • Demonstrated operational excellence in delivery of significant programs/projects

  • Ability to drive continuous improvement – Finance/Relationships/Operations as well as to embrace and thrive in significantly challenging situations

Desirable Requirements:

  • Master’s degree or higher and/or Managed Services experience

  • Experience managing a large organization (100+ Full Time Employees)

Compensation

Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is $209,950 - $271,700.
