Robert Half Accounting Manager/Supervisor in the Woodlands, Texas
Description We are on the lookout for a meticulous Accounting Manager/Supervisor to be a part of our growing team in The Woodlands, Texas. This individual will be integral in ensuring our financial information is accurate and up-to-date. They will play a key role in managing month-end close processes, overseeing treasury operations, and assisting with budgeting. Also, they will be involved in various special projects requiring advanced Excel skills and a solid understanding of QuickBooks and Account Reconciliation.
Responsibilities:
• Manage month-end close processes, ensuring all financial information is accurate and updated timely.
• Prepare and review financial information for accuracy and completeness.
• Oversee treasury operations, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and monitored.
• Assist with the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Participate in various special projects requiring advanced Excel skills.
• Use QuickBooks for managing and reconciling accounts.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in the creation and implementation of new accounting policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve the efficiency of financial operations.
• Continually update skills and knowledge in the field of accounting and related areas. Requirements • Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or Supervisor for a minimum of 5 years
• Proficiency in QuickBooks software
• Demonstrated ability to perform account reconciliation
• Experience in month-end close procedures
• Expertise in financial statement preparation
• Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus
