Job Summary and Qualifications
The Supervisor, Core Lab Quality supervises a variety of day-to-day operational functions of the chemistry section and manages the point-of-care testing program. This position provides technical bench work as needed to support workload demands.
What qualifications you will need:
Maintains active Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license in the State of California
Comprehensive knowledge of laboratory principles, practices, and techniques
Working knowledge of laboratory information systems
Working knowledge of quality assurance/performance improvement programs
Ability to work independently
Strong oral and writing skills that communicate and motivate effectively
Ability to identify and prioritize issues and concerns, generate and analyze feasible solutions, and choose and implement an optimal course of action
Minimum of 3 years of hospital laboratory experience in General Laboratory testing including methodological details and quality control. Excellent interpersonal skills that reflect a positive attitude and a sense of commitment to our customers, employees, and community.
Strong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
