We are looking for an Estimating and Pricing Manager to join our team! The Estimating and Pricing Manager will manage and lead a wide variety of complex cost analysis and estimating activities for large and small projects. The Estimating and Pricing Manager engages with company leadership and functional area managers to develop estimating strategies and cost analysis needed to successfully negotiate follow-on business and capture new efforts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Responsible for the development of cost volumes, ROMs, risk analysis, cost models and other analysis required to support the objectives of the company.

  • Evaluates BOE’s for adequacy.

  • Supports proposal audits, fact finding and contract negotiation discussions.

  • Supports, and provides advice on policy and regulation issues as they relate to FAR, DFARS, CAS and internal policies and procedures.

  • Gathers, organizes, and incorporates historical data and source documentation in cost proposal development.

  • Works with Contracts Manager to define requirements and ensures that all pricing and estimating products are compliant with the RFP requirements and free from error.

  • Manage and develop a team of analysts responsible for the development of cost and proposals supporting three sites.

  • Provides performance goals, development actions, and leadership expectations to staff; provides regular feedback and corrective action as needed.

  • Ensures compliance with Estimating System requirements.

  • Continued focus and analysis on cost development and risk posture to ensure successful program execution.

  • Maintains labor rates, indirect rates and escalation factors in pricing system.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Cultivates and reinforces appropriate group values, norms and behaviors

  • Responsible for hiring, training, development, mentoring, counseling, discipline and performance reviews

  • Assists in the development and administration of the department’s overall budget

  • Monitors projects to ensure completion on schedule and within budget

Qualifications & Competencies

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following qualifications and competencies:

  • Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to meet goals and deadlines accurately and on time in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations

  • Experience with CAS & Disclosure Requirements including TINA

  • Experience conducting complex cost analysis and risk modeling

  • Proficiency in ProPricer

  • Advanced computer proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)

  • Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment

  • Displays exemplary ethics and business conduct and performs work cognizant of safe work practices

  • Ability to travel (<5% of time)

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field

  • Eight (8) years of finance or accounting and/or pricing experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

Salary Range:

$93,500.00-$125,950.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
