Examples of Duties

We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic IT professional to join our team. This role will begin with most of the support being end user support. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude who can interface with customers, helping them learn and explore new technology.

As a technical professional, you will enjoy solving mysterious problems and thrive in a dynamic environment. As an IT representative in the City, you will tackle a myriad of challenges, exploring all avenues to find effective solutions. • Desktop support

• AV support

• Microsoft Intune

• Network troubleshooting

• Extensive Customer Service

Minimum Qualifications

Education and Experience:

Any combination of training and experience that would provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required qualifications would be:

• Equivalent to graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in computer science, information technology, or a related field; AND

• Five (5) years of responsible network management, computer systems, systems analysis, or related experience.

Supplemental Information

Union: not applicable for this position.

Schedule:

• 4 days/10 hours a day (Monday-Thursday) with remote work opportunities

• This role is part of the on-call rotation and requires you to be onsite 2-3 days a week.

Compensation: The hourly range for this overtime eligible position is $42.88-$56.07 per hour. The starting pay assignment, based on an analysis of the successful candidate’s related experience and education in accordance with the City’s pay equity policy and the Oregon Equal Pay Act, would be no higher than $50.46 per hour.
