Northrop Grumman Maintenance Planning Coordinator in Tindal, Australia

Northrop Grumman's MQ-4C Triton Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) provides real-time intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) over vast ocean and coastal regions. The aircraft can fly for more than 24 hours at a time, at an altitude above 55,000 feet and an operational range of 8,200 nautical miles. Australia is a cooperative program partner in the Triton program which consists of the US Navy, Royal Australian Air Force and Northrop Grumman.

Your role:

You will be immersed in the diverse and dynamic environment of the MQ-4C Triton program. Your role is critical, encompassing a wide array of tasks including obtaining financial approvals, configuring systems and overseeing maintenance operations. A major focus of your position will be managing the CAMM2 system, ensuring that it accurately mirrors the condition of the Air Vehicle and Mission Control Station, while meeting stringent airworthiness standards.

Conducting CAMM2 audits, updating policies, and offering technical support will be fundamental responsibilities. Moreover, you'll have the opportunity to lead training sessions for NGA personnel, enhancing their skills in maintenance management.

Your duties will also include liaising with the NGA (Triton) Maintenance Team, overseeing CAMM2 configurations, and ensuring database accuracy. A significant part of your role will involve driving continuous improvements in planning processes and imparting airworthiness training. This position presents a unique opportunity to blend your technical expertise, communication skills, and team collaboration to make a meaningful impact on a vital defence program.

About you:

Your success in this role will be built on a solid foundation of maintenance planning and system management skills, with a particular focus on upholding airworthiness standards. Proficiency in auditing work packs and maintaining maintenance scopes, coupled with the ability to conduct CAMM2 training, is essential. Further, effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement are key to coordinating successfully across the broader program and business.
