What You Will Do

As a Product Manager at Panduit, you\'ll be the driving force behind the success of our assigned products throughout their lifecycle. You\'ll lead with passion and expertise, influencing and supporting both internal and external stakeholders. This pivotal role may encompass multiple product lines and offers a unique opportunity to impact new markets and overcome industry challenges. Here\'s what you\'ll be doing:

  • Product Strategy and Execution: Develop, articulate, and execute product strategies and roadmaps. Collaborate closely with account management and marketing teams to ensure seamless alignment for the launch of a diverse range of products.

  • Product Lifecycle Management: Take the lead in executing all stages of the product lifecycle, from business case development to global/regional product launches.

  • Technical and Application Expertise: Provide comprehensive application support for assigned products, including the creation of technical collateral and training tools for account management teams.

  • Competitor Analysis: Spearhead competitor analysis activities, including evaluating product value propositions, assessing competitive landscapes, and analyzing market sizing and share. Utilize this insight to inform pricing strategies and market positioning.

  • Business and Operations Planning: Drive key business and operations planning initiatives, including pricing strategies, sales and operations planning (S&OP), forecasting, and inventory management. Additionally, contribute valuable cost inputs to our manufacturing strategy.

  • Customer Needs: Act as a trusted advisor to our customers, ensuring their needs and inquiries are not only understood but effectively addressed.

What You Will Bring

Required:

  • Global Travel: Ability to travel globally 10-25% of the time to Panduit, customer, and supplier locations.

  • Educational Background: Undergraduate degree in a technical or business field.

  • Experience: 5-7 years of experience in product management with physical, hardware products in a B2B environment.

  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Financial and Market Analysis: Proficiency in financial and market analysis.

  • Revenue Growth: Proven track record of achieving ambitious revenue goals through portfolio expansion, supply chain optimization, and comprehensive market research.

  • Project Management: Ability to juggle multiple projects, drive incremental growth in existing product lines, and identify and pursue new market opportunities.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working effectively in a matrixed organization, analyzing business performance, and building strong relationships across departments to drive project success.

Preferred:

  • Advanced Degree: MBA preferred.

  • Industry Experience: Experience in the electrical industry.

  • Software Skills: Proficiency with office suite software, including PowerPoint and Excel.
