Located in Titchfield, Hampshire, Eaton's Aerospace business stands as a global leader in aerospace fuel systems. We pride ourselves as a premier supplier of fully integrated fuel systems for fixed and rotary-wing aircraft. The Titchfield facility boasts extensive fuel and air system test facilities, facilitating comprehensive testing across a range of conditions with various fuel types.

We are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer who will be responsible for executing the defined Strategic Quality Plan in conjunction with Plant Leadership and who can provide quality assurance support to customers, suppliers, partners and internal manufacturing cells and participates in continuous improvement activities in targeted areas.

What you’ll do:

  • Customer Interface and Satisfaction:

Proactively engage with customers to understand their requirements and address any concerns.

Assist in resolving complaints and ensure customer delight.

  • Supplier Collaboration:

Work closely with suppliers, providing guidance on product and process quality requirements.

Collect and analyze supplier quality data to drive improvements.

  • Quality Management Systems:

Implement and enhance quality management systems.

Support new product launches by providing advanced quality planning.

  • Auditing and Compliance:

Participate in internal quality system audits.

Ensure compliance with industry-specific quality standards (e.g., ISO9001, ISO/TS-16949).

  • Data Analysis and Improvement:

Analyze quality metrics and recommend action plans.

Identify areas for improvement and drive process enhancements.

  • Training and Development:

Contribute to quality assurance training programs.

Conduct training sessions on quality-related topics.

  • Product Development and Launch:

Collaborate on product development, considering customer expectations.

Evaluate test programs and material testing.

  • Process Capability and Control:

Assess process capability and control plans.

Lead improvement teams when needed.

Skills:

  • Problem-Solving: Proficient in Six Sigma, root cause analysis, and statistical tools.

  • New Product Development: Familiar with effective methodologies for product launches.

  • Quality Standards: Knowledgeable about industry-specific certifications.

  • Process Auditing: Skilled in auditing techniques for compliance.

  • Lean Manufacturing: Understands process variation reduction concepts.

  • Product Knowledge: Aware of end-user specifications and testing requirements.

  • Engineering Concepts: Understands design and reliability principles.
