Job Description

The demand planner as main mission will be to build the demand plan for Mexico and Ecuador market in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Supply and Finance. In addition, transversal responsibilities are a full part of the position to develop other competencies and leadership, such as Key User or process owner. Will coordinate the forecasting and inventory planning processes to ensure products are available in the right quantities at the right time across international markets. They analyze historical data, market trends, and collaborate with international teams to accurately predict future demand. This role plays a crucial part in optimizing supply chain efficiency and meeting customer demand globally.

What You’ll Do:

  • Prepare forecast for 400 active SKUs representing FFL &BE Mexico market and Ecuador.

  • Build a strong demand plan, using all the data available (sales history, promotion plan, sell-out data) on a 24-month horizon through Blue Yonder fine tuning the Statistical model.

  • Challenge and consolidate the forecasts for promotions and new products provided by Sales and Marketing teams.

  • Analyze the forecast accuracy and bias results at country/category level and propose actions to achieve and improve those KPI’s and as a result final OTIF level as well.

  • Collaborate with Finance Department on reconciliation of quarterly Financial Rolling forecast updates and close the gaps vs operational forecasts.

  • Prepare and lead the monthly local Demand Review to get top management sign off on your demand plan.

  • Collaborate with supply teams and coordinate actions that contribute to secure product availability, with a strong focus on TOP SKUs, key promotions, and new listings.

Projects You’ll Work On:

  • The result in Forecast Acuuracy will be he main kpi for the position, for that reason the correct mix among skus is a big challenge for the Demand Planner, align the volume with clear plans from commercial and marketing is key for achieve a good result.

  • LRP process is during the Q2 and the position must gives suggestions about the next years.

  • Innovation and ratio are a key process for the company, and the incorrect follow up can impact negatively in the results of sales, inventories and forecast accuracy.

What We’re Looking For In You:

  • Industrial Engineering, Business degreed

  • Advanced English.

  • 2 – 3 years’ experience within the similar position in a Consumer Goods Company.

  • Tools as JDA/Blue Yonder

  • Advanced Excel

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Detail-oriented
