Robert Half Fulfillment Operations Supervisor in Toano, Virginia

Description We are seeking an Fulfillment Operations Supervisor for our Wholesale Distribution team based in Toano, Virginia, 23168, United States. This role is crucial to our operations, as you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping products or materials. Your expertise in process optimization and talent management will drive efficiency and excellence throughout the fulfillment center.

Responsibilities: • Lead a team of associates, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional customer satisfaction • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping products or materials • Ensure efficient coordination amongst the staff • Drive process optimization and talent management within the fulfillment center • Monitor and enforce compliance with company policies and safety regulations to ensure the safety of all warehouse employees • Utilize ERP Solutions, Great Plains (GPAC), and SAP Cockpit for operations management • Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the efficiency of operations • Oversee order fulfillment and fulfillment processes, including Amazon Fulfillment • Implement and manage supply chain logistics and strategy, including supply chain risk management. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the Wholesale Distribution industry is required

• Proficiency in using ERP Solutions and Great Plains (GPAC) software is essential

• Demonstrable experience in Operations Management

• Proficient in KPI reporting

• Experience with SAP Cockpit is a plus

• Familiarity with Order Fulfillment and Fulfillment Processes, including Amazon Fulfillment

• Deep understanding of Supply Chain Management, Supply Chain Logistics, Supply Chain Strategy, and Supply Chain Risk Management

• Experience in Logistics, Logistics & Distribution, and Logistics Industry is required

• Ability to pass a all candidates required to undergo all candidates required to undergo background check

• Must be a must be eligible to work in the U.S. or hold a valid work permit

• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Must be able to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
