The Coca-Cola Company Associate Manager, Customer & Commercial Leadership Finance in Tokyo, Japan

A successful Franchise Leadership Finance Assistant Manager is one who can support a strong finance strategy within the Customer & Commercial Leadership Area to drive revenue growth and margin expansion .

Focus, Scope & Impact:

  • Drive key business decisions partnering with Customer & Commercial Leadership Team ('C&CL') leaders . Support their cross system commercial initiatives within Japan & South Korea ('J&K') Operating Unit, mainly covering 1) RGM (=revenue growth management), 2) Key Customers, 3) New Digital Venture by providing financial analysis and other finance support, driving alignment across multiple stakeholders, and developing key insights needed to inform strategic priorities

  • Manage the financial aspects of C&CL strategic initiatives, including:

  • Value chain analysis and business case preparation for RGM and customer led initiatives

  • Financial analysis on different pricing decisions and cost variations

  • Profitability analysis for customer contract renewals

  • Suggesting budgets and improvement for key promotions

  • Developing financial model for the new digital business

  • Advanced data analytics to identify revenue expansion opportunities

  • Exploring different investment opportunities

  • Performance tracking/monitoring of RGM initiatives

  • Capability building (understanding the overall KO portfolio and customer area)

KeY SUCCESS PARAMETERS

Knowledge & Experience

  • +3 years of experience in financial planning and/or commercial finance roles

  • A highly efficient communicator and influencer at all levels

Work Focus

  • Experience with statistical analysis and/or financial forecasting/analysis

  • Attention to detail and the ability to identify data patterns

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Strategic thinking and entrepreneurial mindset

Communication Focus

  • This role is responsible for partnering internally as well as externally to effectively drive financial outcomes, as well as to build alignment on key initiatives and metrics, with a focus on communication to:

  • Customer & Commercial Leadership Team at the J&K Operating Unit

  • Other finance teams within the J&K Operating Unit

  • Other OU teams under network organization

  • Bottling partners

  • Other Key Regional Stakeholders (customers, suppliers, etc)

  • As a member of the J&K OU Franchise Leadership Finance team, this role will be an individual contributor
