Amazon Global Account Representative, Global Auto & Mfg IBU - Sales in Tokyo, Japan

AWS is seeking a world-class professional to manage our customer relationships with one of the largest Automotive companies in the world. The Global Account Representative will be responsible for providing global business leadership and management of one or two business units in a large global account. You will build and maintain key relationships, develop and manage opportunities, monitor deployment projects and engage virtual resources. You will define a BDM, ITM relationship strategy within the account, including engaging with AWS senior leadership team for executive sponsorships, coordinating executive business reviews, and maintaining customer satisfaction.

Key job responsibilities

The GAR is responsible for teaming with the customer’s Business & IT Organizations to build strategic relationships across the account, articulating a clear vision and generating enthusiasm, while impacting all business groups. The GAR is responsible for selling at the most strategic level within the account and implementing a broad strategy for earning customer acceptance and service implementation. The GAR will work with all appropriate AWS resources (Executives, Solution Architects, Business Development, Marketing, Partners, Support, Service teams and Professional Services) to support customer interests. Development of formal case studies and other forms of references highlighting activity and workloads running on AWS is core to the role.

A day in the life

Working as a saes member of Account team, visiting to customer site or online-call a day to clarify customer needs, headache or problem they have. Co-work with Solution Archtecht (SA) to offer solutions meets to customer needs.

As a Customer Solutions Manager you will take end-to-end ownership of a diverse range of projects and initiatives, utilizing your communication skills to interface with and influence a broad range of multi disciplinary teams (sales, solutions architecture, support, product, professional services, partners). With a deep understanding of your customer's business vision, culture and processes, you will be your customer's voice within AWS, ensuring that their needs are accurately communicated to AWS leadership, product, and engineering teams. You will evangelize AWS services and influence customers to adopt the right solution at the right time.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of technical sales in B2B environments, in a solution-sales / technology-related environment experience

  • Knowledge of existing and developing technologies

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software

Preferred Qualifications

  • AWS Certification (Cloud Technologist, Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, Developer)

  • Experience in engineering, computer science, or MIS
