We are looking for:

A Hybrid Role of Key Account Manager and Regional Marketing Manager for Electronics & Industrial Markets in Japan

We count on you for:

  • The Key Account Manager is expected to manage the sales activates at his/her accounts and generate sales development programs with either new products or by identifying new applications and customers in the market segment of Electronics and Industrial leveraging the broad product portfolio of high performance polymers of the company.

  • The Regional Marketing Manager is responsible for developing the in region growth strategy aligned with our global electronics market ambitions. The successful candidate will have an aptitude for driving growth programs and bringing new products to the market. Along with a deep understanding of the market trends driving the electronic components market the candidate should be able to articulate the value proposition and positioning of high performance polymer solutions in the electronics market.

  • This role will serve as the regional Japanese lead and be a key interface between local commercial teams and global product and R&D teams. The candidate will work in coordination with the regional and global teams to implement and develop a strong pipeline of growth programs for generating new leads for the regional commercial teams. The position will report to the Global Electronics and Smart Device Market Segment Leader.

You will bring:

  • BS in Science or Engineering. MS or above and/or advanced degree in business is strongly preferred.

  • 5+ Years commercial experiences with customer engagements in an account management/sales, business development, marketing, and/or product development role

  • Familiarity with electronic components, smart devices or other electronic applications and material requirements.

  • Good understanding of high performance, specialty polymers and their value propositions.

  • Project leadership or management experience in a commercial/business/R&D position in the electronics components markets, particularly for material qualification or closely related field will be a strong plus

  • Experience in leading cross functional teams will be a strong plus

  • Experience in international working environment will be a plus

  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills and strong communications skills (oral and written) as a team player and for customer relationship building

  • Strong account management/sales, business development, and/or marketing capabilities with the demonstrated track record of success.

  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and bring innovative new ideas.

  • Proficiency in business English

  • Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking capabilities will be a strong plus

  • Practical knowledge of main marketing excellence tools will be a strong plus.

  • Creative, resourceful, hands-on, proactive, driven, results-oriented

  • Ambition & Aptitude to build and grow new business and bring new products to the market.

  • Aptitude for developing & growing strong relationships with cross disciplinary teams, customers and partners

  • Aspiration for demonstrating and delivering the value of materials in the electronics market
