We are seeking a strategic Senior Marketing Manager to lead our delivery experience initiatives in Japan, leveraging cutting-edge engineering and operational capabilities to deepen customer engagement with Amazon shopping.

In this role, you will be at the forefront of integrating advanced engineering solutions into our marketing strategies. Your role will involve crafting and executing product marketing plans that highlight the benefits of our innovative delivery technologies and drive deeper customer engagement. You will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and operations teams to showcase how our advanced delivery capabilities enhance the shopping experience in Japan.

Product Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive product marketing strategies to promote Amazon’s advanced delivery experience. Highlight key features and innovations that enhance the delivery experience and resonate with Japanese consumers.

Campaign Development: Create and execute targeted marketing campaigns that effectively communicate the value of our delivery experience. Leverage various channels and formats to reach and engage customers.

Performance Optimization: Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of campaigns. Employ data-driven insights to refine strategies, optimize campaign performance, and demonstrate the impact of our delivery technologies on customer satisfaction and engagement

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, operations, and technology teams to ensure alignment and successful implementation of delivery-related projects.

Collaborative Leader: Strong track record of working effectively with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and operations, to achieve business objectives.

Analytical Skills: Proficiency in utilizing data and performance metrics to drive decisions and optimize marketing efforts.

Adaptability: Comfortable navigating and addressing complex challenges. Demonstrates agility in rapid testing and iteration to find effective solutions.

Communication: Fluency in both Japanese and English.

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

  • Experience leading go-to-market for consumer software or hardware product launches

  • Business level English and Japanese language skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis

  • Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting
