Robert Half Accounting Clerk in Toledo, Ohio
Description We are seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our team in Toledo, Ohio. You will be providing financial, administrative, and clerical support to ensure the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions. Your daily tasks will include managing both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), maintaining financial records, and assisting in the preparation of reports.
Responsibilities:
• Handle daily accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• Manage Accounts Payable by processing vendor invoices and payments, and maintaining accurate records
• Oversee the cash application process and review Accounts Receivable aging
• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, including income statements and balance sheets
• Conduct bank statement and credit card reconciliations, identify discrepancies or potential fraud, and ensure accuracy of transactions
• Ensure accurate tax withholdings and generate payroll related and compliance reports
• Assist in managing the company’s insurance policies and ensure regulatory compliance
• Assist with administrative support tasks
• Collaborate with other departments to improve quality and workflow efficiency
• Utilize skills in 'Accounts Payable (AP)', 'Accounts Receivable (AR)', 'Bank Reconciliations', and 'Month End Close' to perform job duties effectively. Requirements
The ideal candidate will likely possess:
3+ years experience
AR & AP experience
Supporting or handling some month end close duties
