Astria Toppenish Hospital is a fully accredited 63-bed community hospital established to care for the unique needs of the Toppenish and surrounding communities, including caring for the people living and working on the Yakama Nation and in communities throughout the region. Astria Toppenish Hospital became an affiliate of non-profit Astria Health in September 2017.
Astria Toppenish Hospital provides a full complement of inpatient and outpatient services. The hospital’s medical services include a 24-hour Emergency Department and Level IV Trauma Services, Intensive Care Unit, 24/7 Inpatient Physicians (Hospitalists), a Family Maternity Center, Inpatient and Outpatient General, OB/GYN and Orthopedic Surgical Services, Inpatient Medical Withdrawal Management Program, an Inpatient Psychiatric Unit, a Level 2 Stroke Center, as well as Cardiac Care and a Level 2 Cardiac Center. Astria Toppenish Hospital provides the people living and working throughout the region with advanced diagnostics including CT, MRI and ECHO cardiography and a full-service laboratory.
Complete daily cleaning in assigned areas in accordance with standard procedures of the Housekeeping Department and in accordance with the hospitals objectives to provide a visually clean and safe environment.
Continuously performs cleaning functions in assigned areas.
Occasionally performs linen distribution functions in assigned areas.
Continuously keeps all assigned equipment clean, correctly labeled and has repairs made as needed.
Continuously uses cleaning chemicals, supplies and other resources safely and cost effectively.
Frequently cleans emergency spills observes and upon request.
Performs other related work as required.

High school Diploma or GED
Functional reading and writing skills.
Previous experience is not required for this position but preference will be given to those applicants with housekeeping work background.
Approximately 30 days is required to become efficient in this position.
