Assistant Manager, Global Sponsorship Marketing

Contributes to the overall success of the Global Sponsorship Marketing team in Canada (focus on mass audience sports and entertainment properties) ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

  • Contributes to cross-functional team focused on driving brand and business results for Scotiabank through portfolio of sponsorship partners, with awareness of cultural landscape and industry best practices.

  • Assists in execution of short and long-term plans with internal and external partners.

  • Supports on fulfillment of contractual obligations while ensuring brand alignment, optimization of assets, and coordination of key sponsorship details.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have experience with:

  • 1 – 3 years experience in brand marketing, partnerships, and/or related field

  • Understanding of cultural, sports, and entertainment landscapes in Canada/International

  • Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
