What You'll Be Doing

You’ll be joining CIBC’s Enterprise Security Technology team. You’ll be at the heart of CIBC’s digital transformation, successfully delivering complex, enterprise-scale mobile projects involving multiple back-end systems. As an Application Consultant, you will build, implement and maintain easy, flexible, and personalized solutions that enhance the client experience. You’ll lead the planning and strategy for the technical design, development and integration of these applications.

How You'll Succeed

  • Design and Development - Perform and coordinate complex application programming activities. Design the application's technical infrastructure using specific databases, programming languages, utilities, and testing approaches. Lead the design and development of cost-effective and innovative solutions.

  • Strategic Planning - Develop multi-year technology roadmaps that align with the bank’s vision, strategy, and business objectives. Lead multiple complex projects involving backend systems, new technology, and the enhancement of existing applications.

  • Leadership Skills - Act as the mobile development team lead and run code-review sessions with the wider team to ensure the project is on track to meet objectives. Support and mentor intermediate and senior developers by sharing knowledge, collaborating and problem solving.

Who You Are

  • You must have 3-5 years' experience as an Archer developer/administrator* only if they have a development background

  • Experience in successful deployments of RSA Archer v6 and higher.

  • Experience working with core components of Archer development such as Access Management (i.e., Role/Groups/Record Permissions), Forms/sub forms/Applications/questionnaires, Fields/Layouts, Data Driven Events, Advanced Workflow, Data Feeds, APIs, Notifications, Calculated Fields, Cross reference, Mail Merge, Data Imports, iViews, Dashboards, Reports, Value Lists, Package Migration etc.

  • Experience with implementing custom RSA Archer configurations; mainly IT Risk Management, Operational Resiliency, BC/DR and Third Party Risk Management use cases.

  • Experience integrating data feeds into RSA Archer and Data Imports using HTTP(XSLT Transformations), DB, file and JavaScript transporters.

  • Experience with implementing Archer Advanced Workflows and Job troubleshooting.

  • Archer API knowledge

  • Nice to have: Data publication (know how to build views from the data publication generated tables)

  • Experience with SQL Server Management Studio, creating SQL scripts to extract, transform and load data

  • Experience performing Archer Upgrades and Certificate renewals

  • Software development, Java, XML, JavaScript, .NET, JSON, SOAP and RESTful Web Services, Subversion, and GIT.

  • Ability to collaborate with rest of the team and addressing Archer specific solutions in the team.

  • You identify system/process/data impacts (upstream and downstream) and propose appropriate alternatives or remediation options, highlighting trade-offs when necessary.

  • Archer Database experience, know how to troubleshoot job issue / feed issues by running queries against job related tables in the database. Familiar with most of the tables in the Archer instance database to be able to pull info as needed.

  • Partnering with vendor support on troubleshooting, upgrades and maintenance activities.

  • Experience with .NET custom applications and custom codes integrating with Archer.

  • Prior experience as an Archer developer in a large bank.

  • Archer administration certification would be successful with other development experience.
