Insight Global Project Coordinator in Toronto, Ontario

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a project coordinator to join a large, Global technology client on-site in Toronto. This project coordinator will be working in the operations department supporting a large scale research lab. Some of the day to day responsibilities of the project coordinator include managing distribution and storage of local hardware and devices, handle shipping and receiving procedures, supporting the onboarding for new hires, and documentation of tasks and issues. The role involves communicating cross functionally with operations and research teams and the ability to assist and improve process workflows. This individual should be someone who has the ability to fill operational gaps, has strong communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment .

Skills and Requirements

  • Independent, driven, and eager learn/share information with team members

  • 2+ years of experience in a relevant field

  • Proven ability to learn business processes quickly and to work well with cross-functional partners at different levels within the organization

  • Interpersonal skills to be able to interface effectively with a broad range of contracts from technical staff to senior management

  • Project estimating, project scheduling &tracking, vendor interaction and management, implementation planning in large organizations

  • Organized skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent activities

  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible /adaptable in exercising judgement in a changing environment and to manage competing priorities

  • Experience working with G Suite

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience - Experience working in a corporate environment

  • Technical knowledge null
