Contributes to the overall success of the Global Marketing department by performing financial and operations management duties related to international marketing budgets ensuring that plans and initiatives are executed / delivered in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
Manages marketing budgets in various countries outside Canada, handling annual planning, variance analysis, forecasting, and management reporting.
Cultivates relationships with global Marketing, Finance, and business staff, facilitating stakeholder discussions to align marketing budgets with targets.
Delivers financial analysis in support of business transformation initiatives and executive-level decision making.
Manages remote matrixed team responsible for accounts payable operations and expense tracking.
Develops and implements expense management processes and internal controls across multiple countries.
Provides support to Global Marketing’s senior management team in functional areas such as Procurement, Audit, and Transfer-Pricing.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have experience with:
University degree with Major in Finance or Accounting, CPA designation an asset.
5-10 years of work experience in Finance or Accounting role.
Fluent Spanish speaker.
Understanding of International Banking Finance policy and procedures including Transfer Pricing.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong persuasion and negotiating skills required to build constructive, supported solutions and obtain approvals from the senior management team of Global Marketing.
The incumbent must demonstrate significant maturity and credibility in dealing with executives, and must be able to work on a highly independent basis.
Advanced excel skills.
