Canadian Tire Senior Workday Integration Consultant in Toronto, Ontario

What You’ll Do:

  • As a member of the HR Platforms Team, you will contribute to the completion of work necessary to deliver value to our customers and achieve squad Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).

  • Act as the key Squad Member for Workday and HR platforms by understanding system implications, identifying gaps/opportunities, finalizing requirements for implementing solutions.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders including HR and IT, to understand their requirements and provide expert guidance on HR applications capabilities.

  • Bring expertise and experience in the domain of Workday integrations of all kinds and forms supporting along with the team to manage 80+ integrations with 40+ vendors.

  • Facilitates discussions and contributes thought leadership to identify and describe customer personas, process pain points, detailed requirements, and business rules for whole business processes and/or features and enhancements of a Product.

  • Update and maintain requirements and design documents for Workday and other HR applications, including creating and executing test cases, maintaining master data values and business process definitions.

  • Performs program and software configuration/modification, design, testing, and set-up activities using CTC methodologies as required to meet the Product outcomes.

  • Participates in all agile events as a member of the squad. Prepares for and participates in demos as needed.

  • Squad outcomes and OKRs are met. Is a SME in the business and technical domains of the squad. Their expertise is sought out. Participates fully in squad events. Positive feedback from the Product Owner, Scrum Master and Pod leadership. Evidence of the use of multiple skills and taking on varied responsibility as needed to meet the squad outcomes.

  • Champions a customer-centric mindset.

    What You Bring:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience with Workday from a system technical support and integration perspective.

  • A minimum of 6 years of aggregate experience working with HR systems is required.

  • Strong functional and technical knowledge of Workday and other HR applications and platforms is required.

  • Strong expertise in managing Workday and other HR platforms, serving as a subject matter expert in collecting requirements, system support, maintenance, and optimization.

  • Experience and certifications in Workday Integration is required (Workday Studio is an asset).

  • Experience and certifications in Workday HCM is required.

  • Experience and certifications in Workday Benefits, Time Tracking are a strong asset.

  • Experience and certifications in other Workday modules are an asset, such as Security, Compensation, Absence Management, Learning, Performance & Payroll are an asset.

  • Strong problem solver with ability to resolve blockers and maintain progress over perfection.

  • Strong expertise in using Jira, qTest, ServiceNow and other supporting tools.

  • Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects at the same time under tight deadlines.

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, overcome confusion, and simplify complex scenarios.

  • Ability to navigate situations that require new concepts or approaches without much guidance from others.

  • Strong stakeholder management abilities with the capability to understand business needs and translate them into effective system solutions.

  • Experienced working in medium to large teams in Agile Scrum/Kanban methodologies. A certification in SAFe agile framework is an asset.

  • Passion to challenge the status quo and find new solutions and drive out-of-the-box ideas.

  • Superior organization and time management skill, able to perform under multiple priorities with multiple stakeholders.

  • Outstanding interpersonal and communications capabilities, able to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders and clearly translate between business and technical requirements.
