ManpowerGroup Assembly Mechanic in Torrance, California
Our client, Aerospace Company, is seeking an Assembly Mechanic to join their team. As a Assembly Mechanic, you will be part of the manufacturing team supporting company production. The ideal candidate will have experience disassembly and assembly of machines and their components, reading and interpret blueprints and using proper machine tooling which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Assembly Mechanic
Location: Torrance, California
Pay Rate (or Pay Range, if required): $26.00
What’s the Job?
Constructs, maintains, and tests mechanical equipment, machinery, and components
Identifies parts for replacement and machines that need new parts and places orders as necessary
Set-up, adjust, and line changeover of manufacturing equipment.
Diagnose malfunctions, repair and replace defective parts with the assistance of equipment manuals.
Analyze mechanical and operational problems and take corrective action.
What’s Needed?
High School diploma or equivalent (such as a GED).
A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
Must have knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
Must have a high awareness on safety
Read and interpret blueprints
