Job Description:

Academic requirements:

Master's degree in administration, leadership certification or related field.

Qualifications & Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, VDA 6.3 standards. CQI's.

  • Knowledge of metal processes (stamping processes, synthesized), casting (investment casting), painting, heat treatments, surface finishes (shooting penning, black outside, etc).

  • Knowledge in plastics, PCBAs, SMT and THT processes.

  • Knowledge of packaging, packaging with graphics and without graphics.

  • Knowledge of color evaluation.

  • Knowledge of ECT testing, colorimetry, gloss, clamshells.

General Objective

Optimize human resources by prioritizing and monitoring the performance of SQE, SPE with suppliers to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Guide the people in your charge to achieve the department's objectives.

  • Inform the superior of situations in case support is required.

  • Ensure that the supplier has the necessary resources in terms of documentation to send exactly what is required.

  • Ensure that the supplier has the resources, information, and everything related to documentation.

  • Ensure that the product the supplier sends is in optimal condition for use.

  • Work with the supplier through the people in charge to establish the appropriate standards.

  • Negotiate the costs of non-quality, debit notes or charges due to contentions and poor-quality product.

  • Ensure that the supplier receives his score card on a recurring basis.

  • Establish with the SQEs the audit programs towards suppliers.

  • See deficiencies of the work team and provide the necessary means to improve.

  • See the needs of the work team, both material and educational.
