Food Service Manager

Responsibilities:
Lead efforts to improve, grow, and elevate food service operations.
Ensure strict compliance with Health Department regulations and company policies regarding food safety standards.
Maintain meticulous attention to detail and enforce adherence to recipes and quality assurance standards among team members.
Train and develop staff on food service operations, including proper food handling procedures and recipe execution.
Manage daily prep lists, temperature logs, and other assigned tasks, delegating effectively to team members.
Oversee all aspects of food ordering from vendors, including inventory management and cost control.
Conduct regular inventory counts and collaborate on action plans to reduce inventory shrinkage.
Occasionally assist with register operations, but primarily focus on kitchen operations.
Prioritize urgency in food & beverage preparation to ensure timely service to customers.
Ensure proper products are available on grab-and-go shelves at appropriate times.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in food service management, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
Strong understanding of food safety standards and regulations, certification preferred.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and leadership abilities.
Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
Experience with inventory management and cost control techniques.
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Must be upbeat, personable, and dedicated to creating a memorable customer experience.
Currently ServSafe certified or willing to obtain certification within 3 months of employment.
