Job Description
Your Team
The New Home Counselor, in our Lakeside at Trappe Community , reports directly to the Director, Sales. General responsibilities are to assist in meeting the sales and settlements goals for their community as established by their Director, Sales. While striving to attain these goals, the New Home Counselor must ensure that a professional atmosphere is created and adhered to by conducting themselves in a fair and equitable manner. Additionally, the New Home Counselor must adhere to the rules and guidelines as required by Fair Housing Laws and the US Department of Housing and American Disabilities Act.
Your Key Deliverables
Sales and Settlements
Meet sales goals as defined by the Director, Sales
Reach settlement goals as defined by Director, Sales
Follow and track loans at assigned community
Assist purchasers from point of sale through settlement
Inform purchasers of construction status, estimated delivery date, etc. throughout the home buying process
Must Haves
Post-secondary diploma or degree in business or related area preferred
Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales
Outstanding sales and customer service record
Proficient computer knowledge and skills
Exceptional time-management and organizational skills
New home or residential home sales experience is preferred.
Nice to Haves
Experience with New Home Construction
Social Media Marketing skills
