The right candidate for this role will have, demonstrable on the resume, at least three years of supervisory experience in an advanced manufacturing environment, such as aerospace, defense, or automotive. You'll have at least three years of SAP experience, as well. This position will support our 2nd Shift at our Decatur Facility.
Main Tasks: Achieving optimum production flow Supervision of the manufacturing process, and activities of production technicians Direct work assignments and activities respective to production timelines Identify continuous improvement needs Prepare production and staffing reports On-boarding and training new production team members Responsible for production management during facility ramp-up and transition to recurring production Defines KPIs and develop reports to track manufacturing system performance Ensures the delivery of the production lines within time and cost. Closely coordinates its activities in collaboration with the local management team, including the Director Operations US, Senior Manager Production, and Quality Managers. Ensure team and working areas comply with safety standards Lead and develop the team in accordance with the company values as well as business strategy and goals Lead and develop the team to create high engagement, good work environment and positive team spirit Develop and encourage the culture of openness in the organization with a special focus on diversity aspects
Requirements /Skill set: Relevant degree preferred Prior supervision experience preferred Firm understanding of process development, validation, and deployment in an advanced manufacturing environment (ie. Aerospace, Automotive, Defense) Must have SAP experience Must demonstrate understanding of manufacturing, engineering, and quality requirements of aerospace composite integration, machining, and completion processes. Must demonstrate proficiency with MS Office or similar tools to prepare reporting and metrics tracking
