Lockheed Martin Senior Financial Analyst / Lvl 3 / Troy, AL in Troy, Alabama

Description: Lockheed Martin is seeking a Financial Analyst for a position in Troy, AL - assist with cost control and analysis. Responsibilities also include:

Performs financial analysis for Production Operations and Quality. Selected candidate will be responsible for business operations activities including cost & schedule management, cost prevention, and support proposal pricing for a program. Candidate will prepare and analyze weekly and monthly Performance Control Reports (PCRs), Hours Per Unit (HPU) charts, manpower detail reports, and recommend cost reduction initiatives through participation in Kaizen and Lean events. Responsible for interfacing with program personnel, program finance, and various site personnel. Will provide support for proposal activity as necessary. The primary site is in Troy, AL but occasional interface and/or travel to other LM sites may be required.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business.

Interest in production environments.

Excellent PC and communication skills.

Ability to obtain a DOD Secret Security Clearance and must have an interim clearance prior to starting.

**Candidate must be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (“ATF”) background check to obtain approval to be an “employee possessor” (of explosives or other ATF-regulated items) as defined by ATF regulations. Failure to obtain and retain employee possessor status may result in revocation of an offer and loss of employment.

Desired Skills:

Ability to perform basic functions including application of cost analysis principles.

Proficient in MS Excel - possess the capacity for the development and use of Vlookup and pivot tables, as well as advanced Excel advance applications (VBA).

Strong analytical skills.

SAP experience.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Aptitude to facilitate results, self-starter attitude, process oriented, structured problem solver, attention to detail.

Working knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVMS) procedures and policies.

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 6 years of professional experience; or 4 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
