Aston Carter Check Resolution Associate in Troy, Michigan


Essential Duties and Functions: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

--Perform internal audits to ensure all work is being completed accurately

--Review each check to determine what department will receive them

--Note IIM and client system (if needed)

--Mail checks to correct address if appropriate

--Mail checks to client for deposit to escrow

--Rush payments to carriers when policy is in jeopardy of cancellation

--Work with other business units as needed

--Follow up on outstanding checks as needed

--Will involve pushing a mail cart to deliver checks certain times of the day

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Must be okay with working on-site 100% of the time Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm

  • 1+ yr experience with data entry, accounting, the insurance or mortgage industry, or experience in a quality control role
