Your Key Responsibilities
Conducts mechanical design engineering activities to develop competitive products Develop products to achieve intended level of function, durability, cost, quality and manufacturability Perform calculations to validate design on paper prior to part production with the goal to reduce cost and increase speed of development process Conduct tolerance stack-ups and basic engineering calculations Trained in 70:20:10 model which emphasizes a mixture of hands on experience, mentoring, and formal training
Your Qualifications
Actively working towards a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline
Preferred Qualifications Demonstrate ability to work independently and use creative problem solving techniques to resolve issues Good soft skills (communicative, team oriented, ability to deal with conflicts and criticism) Good understanding of engineering principles - materials, design, dynamics, structures, and manufacturing Self-motivated and motivated to achieve results Strong Microsoft Office suite skills
