Mahle Behr USA Ford & GM Powertrain Cooling Intern in Troy, Michigan
SUMMARY: The Powertrain Cooling Intern will asssist product development engineers working with customer (Ford / GM / VW) to benchmark competitor components (radiators - ICE and EV). ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: * Assist product development engineers in benchmarking competitor components (radiators - ICE and EV) * Submit and track DV/PV testing * Attend Customer meetings as required (Ford / GM / VW) * Order samples both internally and externally as needed * Maintain project folders with latest design releases * Facilitate the shipping of components between MAHLE locations * Support special assignments as needed (i.e. new resin validation) * Hybrid - 50/50, especially during school year QUALIFICATIONS: * Major: Mechanical Engineering preferred. Other Engineering disciplines considered. * Class Standing: Prefer Jr. or Sr., but will consider Sophomors * Grade Point: 3.0 or above * Skills: Basic computer skills required * Experience: 1 Previous internship preferred * Interest in Thermal Dynamics * Self-driven individual capable of seeking out assignments * Ability and confidence to provide frequent status updates * Organize data in a clear and concise manner * Be able to work both independently and as part of project team Do you have any questions?
