Aptiv Corporation Systems Engineer in Troy, Michigan
Systems Engineer. Troy, MI. Work on next generation Body Computers which act as central nervous system of vehicles. Create and maintain Systems Engineering Management Plan (SEMP). Partition workload and manage deliverables within the systems team. Elicit and manage customer requirements. Analyze and compile requirements feedback from all competencies. Negotiate closure of all RAR items in a timely fashion. Create and maintain systems mechanization and requirements. Conduct architectural design reviews. Lead feature/function implementation prioritization and timing with SW project manager. Develop systems bench and vehicle verification procedures. Lead closure of verification incident reports.
Requires Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics and Communications Engineering and two years of experience as an engineer in the automotive industry. Experience must include: performing calibration validation, diagnosing and troubleshooting vehicle faults, validating hardware/software integration, developing data acquisition tools, performing system integration, and use of CANalyzer, JIRA, CANoe, and MATLAB.
