Founded in 1953, Hudson Valley Community College (HVCC) located in scenic Upstate NY is a multi-campus College with locations in Troy and Malta New York. HVCC offers more than 80 degree and certificate programs in three schools: Business and Liberal Arts; Health Sciences; and Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM). Hudson Valley is one of 30 community colleges in the State University of New York (SUNY) system and serves nearly 9,000 students each year. TITLE: Camp Counselor

Employment Date: Program Dates: July 1, 2024 – August 16, 2024. Available positions are based on enrollment. Hourly rate of $15.00.

Minimum qualifications: Must be at least 16 years of age and have demonstrated experience working with and supervising children or have completed an acceptable training program.

Duties:

• Create an enthusiastic and team orientated environment.

• Provide direct supervision of children in Kids on Campus programs.

• Participates in all activities and encourages camper involvement.

• Role model appropriate behaviors and provide positive reinforcement for camp participants.

• Interact with parents, teachers, and other camp administrators to facilitate smooth day-to-day operation of programs.

• Responsible for maintaining confidential records.
