Founded in 1953, Hudson Valley Community College (HVCC) located in scenic Upstate NY is a multi-campus College with locations in Troy and Malta New York. HVCC offers more than 80 degree and certificate programs in three schools: Business and Liberal Arts; Health Sciences; and Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM). TITLE: Camp Counselor
Employment Date: Program Dates: July 1, 2024 – August 16, 2024. Available positions are based on enrollment. Hourly rate of $15.00.
Minimum qualifications: Must be at least 16 years of age and have demonstrated experience working with and supervising children or have completed an acceptable training program.
Duties:
• Create an enthusiastic and team orientated environment.
• Provide direct supervision of children in Kids on Campus programs.
• Participates in all activities and encourages camper involvement.
• Role model appropriate behaviors and provide positive reinforcement for camp participants.
• Interact with parents, teachers, and other camp administrators to facilitate smooth day-to-day operation of programs.
• Responsible for maintaining confidential records.
