Job Description Summary
Photolithography engineer associated with the manufacturing processes of Digital X-Ray Detector and flexible printed circuit manufacturing.
GE Healthcare North Greenbush produces Flexible printed circuits and Digital X-ray Detectors for mammography, vascular, and industrial applications. The GE digital flat-panel detectors are a critical component of X-ray systems and are designed to provide outstanding image quality and efficiency.
Job Description
Control multiple sets pf photolithography equipment in a cleanroom environment (clean, coat, expose, develop, inspect) as both the area tool owner as well as the process owner.
Define and control production process including tooling and equipment. Validate design specifications and shop floor application of new product, tools, or equipment.
Work with design engineers to define recipes to implement new designs in manufacturing that supports high yield and high-quality processes.
Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute policy/strategy.
Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
Uses judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.
Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors of Science Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or a STEM degree or related technical degree
Or specific GEHC Photolithography experience
3 years post-graduation experience
Understanding of Quality Assurance and testing procedures
Prior Photolithography experience
Desired Characteristics
Candidates with a strong background in semiconductor manufacturing process development
Experience with photoresist coaters, steppers, and/or developer equipment.
History of tool ownership including process development and corrective actions
Work experience in clean room environment.
Thorough sense of ownership, drive, and dedication to continuous improvement.
Candidates with both process and tool qualification experience
6-sigma DMAIC & DFSS certified
Experiences in Process Intensive manufacturing
Product and Process Development experience
Experienced developing tools and templates
Demonstrated program or project management skills
Demonstrated experience owning production processes / growing capability in yield and quality
Experience working with global teams
Good analytical and planning skills

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $98,880.00-$148,320.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
