Russell Sage College Nursing Adjunct Faculty in Troy, New York

The Department of Nursing at Russell Sage College is seeking highly-motivated adjunct faculty who are interested in teaching undergraduate or graduate theory in class, hybrid or online courses; onsite campus clinical and simulation labs; and clinical rotations in a variety of acute and community health settings, and/or conducting site visits for Nurse Practitioner (NP).

Adjunct compensation is currently $900 per credit hour (depending on staffing needs and enrollment).

Job Requirements:

Minimum adjunct faculty qualifications include:

  • Master's (or higher degree) in Nursing;

  • Current clinical expertise relevant to the course content or specific lab or clinical rotation;

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in New York State.

If a candidate is applying to teach in the graduate NP Program and/or conducting clinical site visits for NP students, current national NP certification is required. Preference will be given to candidates who also have prior theory or clinical teaching experience and familiarity with Moodle (or a similar learning platform).
