Job Description
Create and assemble complex plastic tube products using techniques to fuse, cut, form, bend, and shape plastic (primarily PFA) tubing to meet precise design specifications. Utilize hand tools, bench top welders, and precision equipment to form PFA tubes. Read and interpret drawings/prints and work orders to carry out the design specifications for each product. Work in a team environment to enhance techniques and improve repeatability. Collaborate with area leads to prioritize workload and notify them of any shortages or problems that may affect the schedule.
Responsibilities
Assemble complex plastic tube products using various techniques.
Fuse, cut, form, bend, and shape plastic (primarily PFA) tubing.
Utilize hand tools, bench top welders, and precision equipment.
Read and interpret drawings/prints and work orders.
Collaborate in a team environment to enhance techniques and improve repeatability.
Work with area leads to prioritize workload and address any issues that may affect the schedule.
Essential Skills
Experience in tube bending, mechanical assembly, and the use of measurement equipment.
Proficiency in math and mechanical assembly.
Ability to use hand tools and operate machinery.
Experience working in a cleanroom environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Proficiency using rulers, calipers, protractors, and other measuring tools.
Ability to read and understand blueprints, assembly drawings, and PNIDs.
Effective communication skills with coworkers, area leads, and management.
Self-starter and self-motivated with the ability to multi-task.
Ability to work well in a team environment.

Work Environment
Work in a cleanroom environment. In the fabricator role, you will primarily work outside of the cleanroom but must be willing to gown up and work in the cleanroom as needed. The position is a swing shift role from 3:30 pm to midnight with a 1/2 hour lunch break.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tualatin, Oregon.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00
